Turn heads 7 days a week with the new Garmin Fenix 7! What are the latest features?
The time has come, the launch of the Garmin Fenix 7. Almost 2 years after the launch of the Fenix 6, Garmin is now releasing a new release of Garmin's most complete multisport watch. But what are the latest features? Read on now!
The Fenix 7 series multisport GPS watches are made to be worn all 7 days of the week. With a sturdy and sleek appearance and using high-quality materials such as titanium and sapphire glass , this watch is a real eye-catcher that you will never want to take off.
Experience ease of use with the familiar buttons of the sports watch supplemented with the new touchscreen interface. Get performance insights and metrics that help you manage your effort and build endurance. Optimize recovery and overall well-being by monitoring heart rate, breathing, stress, sleep and more. And use all connected functions, such as smartphone notifications, music storage and Garmin PayTM contactless payments. The number of available Solar versions has also been expanded. These provide a solar charging lens that uses the sun's energy used to extend battery life. In addition, the Fenix 7X offers a built-in LED flashlight that ensures that you can continue in the dark. Let's go!
Built for performance |
Updated, ultra-light athletic design features a bright 1.2′, 1.3” or 1.4” display and 42mm, 47mm or 51mm housing. This watch meets US military standards for temperature, shock and water resistance. |
Improved battery life |
To maximize your use time with the fenix without having to hold back, the battery life of all Fenix 7 watches has been significantly extended. With the optional Solar editions you can also further extend the battery life in GPS mode by an average of 30% with regular use. |
High-quality materials |
The POWER SAPPHIRE glass provides extra durability on these models. No more scratches on your watch! Customize the look of your watch with a choice of stainless steel, titanium or DLC-coated watches. |
Touchscreen & buttons |
In addition to the familiar button operation of the sports watch, the watches now also have a quickly responding touchscreen. |
Built-in flashlight |
The Fenix 7x watches now have a new built-in multi-LED flashlight, which you can switch on during training in the dark. So from now on you are also visible with your watch while running in the dark. We think it's a nice new feature! |
Multi-band GNSS support |
Access to multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO). With the Sapphire Solar editions you get superior accuracy using technology previously only available to the military. Access multiple frequencies transmitted by navigation satellites for improved position accuracy in areas where GNSS signals are reflected, weak, or normally do not penetrate. |
Sync settings |
Users can now adjust settings such as fields and screens in real time from the phone (Garmin.Connect) and of course still via the watch. Settings are synchronized in real time between smartphone and watch to simplify configuration. |
Real-time stamina |
Use this data to track and manage your effort, to better understand how your endurance changes during activities, and to avoid overexertion at the start of your run or during an activity. |
HIIT workouts |
This activity profile tracks your high-intensity interval workouts, including AMRAP, EMOM, and Tabata. Set the number of laps, work/rest intervals and more. |
Visual race forecast |
Based on your running history and general fitness, this visual race predictor estimates your best pace for the distance you want to run. Trend data shows how your training is making an impact over time. |
Up ahead |
Get information at a glance about selected POI checkpoints further along the route. View performance data, splits and distance/elevation, plus an overview of important created waypoints coming up. |
Multicontinent topo maps |
Download TopoActive maps from around the world. Select coverage if desired and easily update directly to the watch via Wi-Fi® and the handy Map Manager. The Sapphire Solar Edition (32 GB) is preloaded with Topo Europa maps. On the non-sapphire models (16 GB) you can easily download the desired maps. View terrain contours, elevations, peaks, parks, coastlines, rivers, lakes and other geographic features. |
Gen4 heart rate monitoring in post |
Optical heart rate technology measures activity intensity and heart rate variability to calculate your stress level. These measurements are also taken underwater without a heart rate belt. |
