As a triathlete, you put in a lot of training hours. Swimming, cycling and running - each part requires its own approach and brings unique challenges. For me, running has always been the favorite part, but also the most injury-prone.

The impact during running is great. This is precisely where you can gain - or lose - a lot of time. That is why it is essential to be well prepared at the start, with the right technique as well as the right equipment. And that starts with your shoes.

Why are good running shoes so important?

The perfect running shoe is personal. What works for me may be just the opposite for you. There is a huge variety of shoes these days:
